The Browning Vault Door is part of Browning's vault door lineup. A Duo-Formed steel vault door with 22 to 24 chrome-plated bolts, UniForce locking, OmniBarrier protection and a Palusol expanding fire seal, in Standard Out-Swing, Clamshell Out-Swing and Clamshell In-Swing configurations.

A vault door is a permanent decision, and this one is built for it: a Duo-Formed® steel door with 22 or 24 chrome-plated 1-1/4" bolts, the Uniforce™ locking system and the OmniBarrier® lock protection system, a structure of hard plate and steel components that protects the lock from drill, punch and push attacks. External ball bearing hinges and an internal lock release that opens the door from inside the vault finish the design. Available as a Standard Out-Swing, Clamshell Out-Swing or Clamshell In-Swing door.

Fire-Insulated Door

The vault door carries 1-7/8" of fire insulation in the door and a Palusol® expanding fire seal that closes the gap around the door against heat and smoke once it reaches 212°F. Browning does not publish a fire rating for its vault doors, so confirm the fire requirements of your vault room before ordering.

Norcal Safe and Vault can help plan delivery of these 735–910 lb Browning vault doors across Sacramento, the Bay Area and Northern California. Vault doors install into a prepared opening (Standard Out-Swing needs a rough opening of at least 36" x 83"; Clamshell doors need at least 40" x 82" in an 8" to 11-1/2" thick wall), so contact us before you order and we'll coordinate the details with you and your contractor.
