The Browning Medallion Series is an enhanced-protection gun safe: security level 7 of 10, 10-gauge steel and 110 minutes of fire protection at 1,700°F, available in 5 sizes that hold up to 65 long guns. Introduces a cam-lock with multiple diversion bars, with 10-gauge steel, 12 to 14 all-active Max Bolts, Pry-Stop corner bolts and a simulated worn-leather interior.

What Makes the BROWNING | MEDALLION Model Special

Level 7 out of 10 Security

The Medallion pairs a 10-gauge steel body with continuous welds and a 1-11/16" Duo-Formed® door with a full-coverage 10-gauge inner plate. Its Gear Drive™ locking system routes bolt and handle pressure to the cams and diversion bars instead of the lock, and 12 to 14 chrome-plated 4" x 1" Max Bolts, all active, secure the door on four sides, with Pry-Stop® Corner Bolts at the door corners. Hardened steel pin lock protection and UL Listed construction round out serious protection for a large collection.

110 Minute Fire Protection

The Medallion is certified for 140 minutes of fire protection at 1,200°F and 110 minutes at 1,700°F. Browning's ThermaBlock® fire insulation interlocks to minimize gaps (2-1/2" in the ceiling, 2-1/2" in the body and 2-3/8" in the door), and external hinges avoid the heat path that internal hinges create. In a fire, the Palusol® door seal expands once it reaches 212°F, closing the gap around the door against heat and smoke. That makes it a strong choice for homes in wildfire-prone parts of Northern California.
